Georgian Bay Apple
The apple country of the southern shore
On the southern shore of Georgian Bay, around Thornbury, Clarksburg and Meaford, the waters of the bay and the shelter of the Niagara Escarpment make some of Ontario's best apple country. The region grows about a quarter of Ontario's apples.
